Megawati 'Orders' Jokowi's Son And Son-in-Law To Imitate Risma

JAKARTA - The Chairperson of the PDI-P, Megawati Soekarnoputri, has asked all regional head candidates to work wholeheartedly for the people if elected. Not to seek power alone.

This was conveyed by Megawati in a speech at the party school of prospective regional head candidates for the 2020 simultaneous regional elections at Wisma Kinasih, Bogor, West Java, Friday, August 21.

"When I gave my recommendation I asked 'what do you mean to become a regional head' if it is only for wealth, my power is very sure that it is impossible for you to become twice," said Megawati.

Megawati asked the performance of the elected regional head candidates to work like party friends who have successfully served the community, such as the Mayor of Surabaya, Tri Rismaharini alias Risma and Banyuwangi Regent Azwa Anas. Including President Joko Widodo's son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka and son-in-law Bobby Nasution.

"We are very strict in this matter. Because in the process we elect leaders in the regions we monitor their work. Of the many that have produced leaders that I cannot name one by one, they are extraordinary. Like Mrs. Risma," said Megawati.

According to Megawati, there is no doubt about Risma's performance as regional head. Therefore, all elected regional head candidates followed Risma's performance.

"Looking for Mrs. Risma is a burden for me, her struggle is extraordinary, her dedication has made the city of Surabaya a world famous city, because the heat from the city of Surabaya has dropped by two degrees, it's no joke, it's a tremendous job," he said.
