Wisma Athlete Hospital Today: 53 COVID-19 Patients Increase
JAKARTA - The number of patients at the COVID-19 Special Emergency Hospital (RSDC) Wisma Atlet Kemayoran, Jakarta, Saturday, December 25, increased by 53 people, when compared to the figure on Friday, December 24.
"Inpatients confirmed positive (COVID-19) in Towers 5 and 6 as many as 373 people, while the original number (one day earlier) was 320 people. There was an addition of 53 inpatients," said Head of Information for the Joint Regional Defense Command (Kogabwilhan) I Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, in Jakarta, Saturday, December 25.
He also said that from March 23, 2020 to December 25, 2021, the number of patients referred to the Wisma Athlete Emergency Hospital was 129,902 people.
Of that number, 127,885 COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged from the hospital, while 1,048 patients were referred to other hospitals.
The head of information for Kogabwilhan I TNI noted that 596 people died at the Wisma Athlete Emergency Hospital as of December 25, 2021.
On the same occasion, Aris also conveyed the development of the situation at the Galang Island Special Hospital for Infection (RSKI), Batam, Riau Islands.
The number of inpatients at the Galang Island Hospital as of Saturday was 256 people.
"There are 256 inpatients, of which 189 are men and 67 are women. All 256 patients have been confirmed positive for COVID-19," said Aris as quoted from his written statement. 51 inpatients at the Galang Island Hospital.
"As per December 25, 256 inpatients were inpatient, originally (one day earlier) 205 people," he asserted.
From April 12, 2020 to December 25, 2021, the Galang Island Hospital received a total of 17,777 patients. Of that number, 17,520 patients have been discharged from the hospital, said Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, Saturday.
