Firm! General Andika Fires Three TNI Personnel Who Hit Two Teens In Nagreg And Dispose Of Victims In Serayu
JAKARTA - TNI Commander General Andika Perkara ordered TNI investigators to fire three of his members suspected of being involved in the crash case in Nagreg, Bandung Regency, West Java. Where, the collision resulted in the death of two teenagers.
"The Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces, General Andika Perkasa, has also instructed TNI and AD investigators as well as the TNI AD investigator to give additional punishments of dismissal from military service for the 3 members of the TNI AD," said Head of the TNI Information Center Major General Prantara Santosa in his statement, Saturday, 25 December.
The three members of the Indonesian Army, namely Colonel Inf P, Corporal Two DA, and Corporal Two Army. Meanwhile, the two victims are Handi Saputra (16) and Salsabila (14).
Based on the examination, said Prantara, the three TNI personnel violated three criminal articles. Where, in one of the articles that are violated the maximum sentence is life imprisonment
"The three TNI AD officers violated Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Highway Traffic and Transportation, including Article 310 (threats to imprisonment for a maximum of 6 years) and Article 312 (threats to imprisonment for a maximum of 3 years)," he said.
"The Criminal Code is Article 181 (threats to imprisonment for a maximum of 6 months), Article 359 (threats to imprisonment for a maximum of 5 years), Article 338 (threats to imprisonment for a maximum of 15 years), Article 340 (threats to imprisonment for a maximum of life)," he continued.
Previously, the Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Kombes Erdi A Chaniago, said the collision occurred on Jalan Raya Nagreg, Bandung Regency, West Java on Wednesday, December 8. It is known that the accident involved two teenagers who died, namely Handi Saputra (16) and Salsabila (14).
However, the victim is reported missing after being involved in an accident. The two victims, who used a Suzuki FU type motorcycle with police number D 2000 RS, were allegedly hit by another vehicle when they were about to enter Jalan Raya Nagreg.
After three days had passed, police officers from the Central Java Regional Police reported that a body was found in the Serayu River area on Saturday, December 11. The two bodies have the same characteristics as the victims of the accident in Nagreg.
Furthermore, Erdi said police officers from the West Java Regional Police left with the parents of the victims to confirm the identities of the two bodies.
"From all of this, it is true that the victims were their children. The victims were post-mortem, autopsied, and returned to their parents for burial," said Erdi.
The two victims were found in two different locations. Handi was found on the banks of the Serayu River, Rawalo District, Banyumas Regency, while Salsabila was found in the Serayu River estuary area, Adipala District, Cilacap Regency, Central Java.
