DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Targets 91 Percent Budget Absorption By The End Of 2021
JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government is seeking to absorb the DKI Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) in 2021 up to 91 percent of the ceiling of Rp. 69.9 trillion.
"Information from Pak Edi (Head of BPKD) is expected to reach 91 percent this year. Later, we will check the exact details. Basically, we will try to reach 91 percent," said Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria, quoted from Antara, Friday.
However, when referring to data from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Monitoring and Evaluation Information System website as of last Thursday, the APBD that has been realized has only been 78.97 percent or Rp. 55.2 trillion.
In addition to accelerating the absorption of the 2021 budget, Riza said the DKI Provincial Government also continues to increase revenue from the tax sector.
"It will continue to be boosted. Many efforts include tax incentives, there is an acceleration. So the program already exists, the deadline is until 31 (December). God willing, everything has been taken into account," said Riza.
Regarding boosting income from taxes, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government provides tax incentives in the form of reductions in tax principals and the elimination of regional tax administration fines until the end of 2021.
This tax incentive applies to Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2), Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB), Motor Vehicle Transfer Fee (BBN-KB), Land and Building Rights Acquisition Fee (BPHTB), hotel tax, entertainment tax, restaurant tax, to parking tax.
For PBB-P2 taxes, the DKI Provincial Government provides a 10 percent relief every year for the principal tax receivables from 2013 to 2021. Especially for the principal tax receivables in 2021 with a nominal value of over Rp. 1 billion, taxpayers can apply for payment in installments via the https:// page. taxonline.jakarta.go.id.
"The installment application is submitted no later than December 20, 2021," said Head of the Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) DKI Lusiana Herawati in a statement.
Taxpayers who have already paid the 2021 PBB-P2 in October can also apply for a 10 percent relief via the official website no later than January 24, 2022.
In addition to being given a 10 percent discount, taxpayers who pay the principal of PBB-P2 receivables for the 2013-2020 fiscal year also get the removal of administrative sanctions. PKB principal payments for the tax year before 2021 will be given a five percent relief.
"5 percent relief is given to taxpayers who pay in the period 14 to 31 December 2021," said Lusiana.
Then, the abolition of administrative sanctions also applies to taxpayers who pay the PKB principal for the tax year before 2021. A 50 percent relief is given for the second motor vehicle delivery tax principal and so on for taxpayers who pay BBN-KB in the August-December 2021 period.
The abolition of administrative sanctions is also given to taxpayers who pay the BBN-KB tax principal for the transfer of ownership of the second vehicle and so on.
A relief of up to 50 percent is given to individual taxpayers for the first time acquisition of a tax object in the form of a house or flat with a Tax Object Selling Value (NJOP) above Rp2 billion-Rp3 billion.
The provision is that 50 percent relief is given to taxpayers who pay BPHTB in August 2021. Then, 25 percent relief is given to taxpayers who pay taxes in the September-October 2021 period.
Finally, a 10 percent discount is given to taxpayers who carry out their obligations in the November-December 2021 period. The DKI Provincial Government also provides the abolition of administrative sanctions for late payments of hotel, entertainment, restaurant, parking, and billboard taxes.
"The abolition of this administrative sanction is given to taxpayers who make tax payments in the period 14 to 31 December 2021," said Lusiana.
