Accepting Public Feedback, Minister Of Health Budi: Quarantine Queues Made Fast, Hotel Prices Are Transparent
JAKARTA - Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin said that currently hotel prices for quarantine have been made transparent and systematic, and the inspection queue for people arriving after traveling from abroad is faster.
"Today, we are evaluating the results of public input regarding the long queues. Now it is faster after handling and repairs have been carried out," said Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin during a press statement at Soekarno-Hatta Airport Tangerang, Friday, December 24.
He said that previously the Ministry of Health had received input from the public regarding the long queues for the quarantine entry process.
Likewise with the provision of hotels as quarantine places and relatively high prices. Now after a joint review by the National Police Chief, Ministry of Transportation, BNPB, TNI and other elements, the Minister of Health said, improvements had been made.
"Hotel prices have been made transparent by BNPB and systemized. Likewise, queues will be faster and less crowded as before," he said. Then the Ministry of Health also appealed to people who arrived from outside in horror to follow the existing procedures by undergoing quarantine for 10 days.
Moreover, the current case of Omicron is increasing rapidly, as is the case in the UK. Therefore, various efforts are continuously made so that the transmission can be suppressed.
"There are three thousand people who arrive per day and we have to do a thorough inspection to prevent the spread. So we are together with the health care discipline," he said.
