Video Of Boy Crying Sobbing Viral, His Shirt Is Covered In Mud With Tied Hands

MEDAN - A video of a boy with bound hands and feet covered in mud was caught and went viral on social media. The bullying action is said to have taken place in Loloana'a Village, Alasa District, North Nias Regency, North Sumatra.

In the video, it looks like the poor boy is being asked by a woman in the local language. She seemed to be sobbing in a state that she couldn't do much because she was tied up.

Separately, the Nias Police Public Relations Subdivision Paur, Aiptu Yadsen Hulu confirmed the video that was circulating. According to him, the police have intervened to arrest the alleged perpetrator of bullying.

"Child victims have been picked up by Alasa Police personnel and the perpetrators have also been arrested," said Aiptu Yadsen, Friday, December 24.

According to Aiptu Yadsen, the case is still being handled by the Alasa Police. Today's case will be transferred to the Nias Police Satreskrim PPA Unit. However, Yadsen has not detailed the identity and chronology of the incident.

"We will update the progress later, because this case will be handled by the Nias Police PPA Unit. Currently, the victim and perpetrator are still at the Alasa Police Station waiting to be delivered," he said.
