DKI Provincial Government And DPRD Approve Amendment To Regional Regulation 3 BUMD
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and the DKI DPRD have agreed on three Draft Regional Regulations (Raperda) regarding the Jakarta Tourisindo Limited Liability Company (Perseroda), the Jaya Drinking Water Regional Public Company, and the Jaya Wastewater Management Regional Public Company.
In the ratification of the amendments to Perda 3 BUMD, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ahmad Riza Patria, expressed his appreciation to the DKI Jakarta DPRD for giving approval for the Raperda to become a Perda.
"I, together with the executive, express our gratitude and high appreciation to the leadership and members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD for their seriousness in observing and reviewing the entire substance of this Raperda material. DKI DPRD, Friday, December 24.
In the ratification of the regional regulation regarding PT Jakarta Tourisindo (Perseroda), Riza hopes to play a bigger role in the tourism sector by establishing an integrated and sustainable Jakarta tourism ecosystem.
"The development of the tourism sector is expected to boost regional economic growth and contribute to the welfare of the wider community," said Riza.
Regional Public Water Company Jaya is expected to further increase professionalism in meeting the needs of hygienic drinking water for the community, improve welfare, increase regional original income, and participate in carrying out regional economic development.
"Including, PAM Jaya continues to build, innovate and develop drinking water supply system infrastructure independently, equitably for every layer of Jakarta's citizens," he said.
In addition, at the Jaya Wastewater Management Regional Public Company, Riza hopes to improve the welfare of the community by providing waste water management services including collection, maintenance, and treatment.
"The spirit of partnership is essentially the main foundation in carrying out the responsibility to improve the welfare of the people of the City of Jakarta, especially during the pandemic," he added.
