Synopsis Clifford The Big Red Dog, Fighting Bully With Big Hearts
JAKARTA - The film Clifford the Big Red Dog finally opens in theaters starting December 29. After being delayed due to COVID-19, this family-themed children's film is suitable to watch during the New Year holidays.
The film Clifford the Big Red Dog tells the story of high school student Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) who has just transferred schools and is bullied by her friends because she gets a scholarship and is considered poor. On his way to school, he meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gives him a little red puppy.
But Emily never thought that when she woke up she would find the red puppy turned into a giant ten feet tall dog in her small apartment in New York City.
Meanwhile her mother, Maggie Howard (Sienna Guillory) is away on business and leaves Emily with her impulsive uncle, Casey (Jack Whitehall). The two of them embark on an exciting adventure to defend Clifford.
Adapted from the children's book series of the same name by Norman Bridwell, Clifford teaches how to face differences with a big heart. The film, directed by Walt Becker, stars Jack Whitehall, Darby Camp, Tony Hale, Sienna Guillory, David Alan Grier, Russell Wong, Kenan Thompson, and John Cleese.
