Antasari Azhar Examined The Case Of Bank Bali Claims Rights, Djoko Tjandra
JAKARTA - The Directorate of Corruption Crime (Dit Tipikor), Bareskrim Polri, is investigating Antasari Azhar over the Djoko Tjandra case regarding alleged corruption in the transfer of collection rights or cessie Bank Bali. The examination took place last week.
The examination of Antasari Azhar was based on the summons for examination Number: B / PK-257 / VIII / RES.3.3 / 2020 / Tipidkor. The examination took place on Thursday, August 13th.
Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, confirmed the question of the investigation. Antasari was examined as a witness in the Djoko Tjandra case.
"Yes, it is true as a witness," said Argo to reporters, Thursday, August 20.
However, regarding the point of examination, Argo was reluctant to elaborate in detail. This is because examination is the authority of the investigator.
"The investigators will ask you later."
For your information, Antasari Azhar is one of the Public Prosecutors (JPU) who handled the Bank Bali case in 2000.
During the trial, Antasari accused Djoko Tjandra of committing a criminal act of corruption which caused state losses of more than Rp 904 billion. Thus, a prison sentence of 1 year 6 months or 18 months is required.
