Security Guard Raping Woman Caught Stealing Palm Oil In Labuhanbatu, North Sumatra
MEDAN - The Labuhanbatu Police Criminal Investigation Unit team, North Sumatra, arrested a security guard with the initials AHH (28). He raped a housewife with the initials A (25) at PT M Plantation, Labuhanbatu Regency.
Labuhanbatu Police Chief, AKBP Anhar Arlia Rangkuti said the rape case began when the victim was caught by the perpetrators while looking for loose fruit from palm oil.
"Saturday, November 6, 2021, at noon, victim A (25) was in block II of PT Milano's plantation citing loose palm kernels in a squatting position," said AKBP Anhar, Thursday, December 23.
Suddenly the victim was surprised by the sound of shouts from the perpetrator who asked about the victim's activities. Hearing that, the victim became frightened and fell silent.
"The suspect said to the victim, 'let me take you to the office'. Hearing this, the victim was frightened and stood up, at that time the perpetrator approached the victim (and committed sexual abuse, ed)," continued AKBP Anhar.
The victim struggled to escape. At that time, the perpetrator raped the victim.
"The victim saw and recognized the perpetrator's face. After that, the perpetrators left the location and at the crossroads," said AKBP Anhar.
After that, the victim reported this incident to the Labuhanbatu Police on 7 November.
The police also arrested the perpetrator. The police confiscated clothes as evidence of a rape case.
"The perpetrator is subject to Article 285 of the Criminal Code with a maximum prison sentence of 12 years," said AKBP Anhar.
