Priyanka Gandhi Accuses Her Son's Instagram Account Of Being Hacked
JAKARTA - Preliminary investigations show that the children's Instagram accounts of Congressional Secretary General Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have not been hacked, said a source from India's Ministry of Electronics & IT, Wednesday, December 22. Previously, Priyanka Gandhi on Tuesday, December 21 alleges that the government hacked her children's Instagram accounts.
During her campaign in Uttar Pradesh, Priyanka Gandhi said the government had lost its morality and was constantly attacking the Opposition through raids, including those carried out by the Income Tax Department.
“They even hacked my kids' Instagram accounts, let alone tapped their phones. Don't they have other work?" he said in Lucknow a few days ago quoted by news18.com.
Speaking to the media in response to accusations of wiretapping opposition phones against the Yogi government, Priyanka Gandhi last Tuesday said, "They even hacked my children's Instagram accounts, let alone wiretapped phones. Don't they have other jobs?"
As reported by indiatvnews.com, after Priyanka Gandhi's accusations, the government ordered an investigation into the matter.
Taking a “suo motu” policy, the court ordered an investigation into allegations of hacking the Instagram accounts of children Priyanka Gandhi and Robert Vadra.
According to sources, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology approached Instagram with suo motu to investigate allegations made by Priyanka Gandhi regarding the hacking of her children's Instagram accounts. Instagram has informed the ministry that the allegations are false and so far no complaints have been filed from the Gandhi family or on behalf of anyone.
According to sources, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has asked the Computer Emergency Response Team to investigate the matter. Under the protocol, the team can also speak to Priyanka Gandhi and her children if needed.
Priyanka Gandhi on Tuesday accused the government of hacking her children's Instagram accounts. After that, her husband, Robert Vadra, threatened to take legal action in this case.
In an exclusive chat with IANS by phone, Robert Vadra said on Tuesday, "We have evidence of what we said. We will definitely take legal action. We believe in the justice system. The way this government behaves, only legal remedies can stop it. Also, this should not happen to children."
