Drug Nest In Muara Bahari Village Raided, Officers Find Sajam And Police Badge

JAKARTA - The North Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Investigation Unit and the TNI raided a drug trafficking nest in Muara Bahari Village, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Wednesday, December 22. From the raids, 27 people were arrested, including 23 men and 4 women. Not only that, during the raid the officers found a police badge.

"From the raid, 31 plastic clips containing marijuana, 12 plastic wraps containing methamphetamine and 1 pack of remaining shabu belonging to the perpetrators were confiscated," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Endra Zulpan to reporters, Wednesday, December 22.

The raid on the drug nest was carried out by joint officers to follow up reports from the public who were restless about the location's existence.

In addition to securing a number of people and drugs, joint officers also confiscated a number of sharp weapons.

"Eight units of sharp weapons, bows and arrows and sickles were also confiscated from the location of the raid," he said.

In fact, officers also confiscated a police badge from the site of the raid.

"Digital scales, notebooks, plastic clips, cassava, straw wrappers, gas lighters, suction bongs, BCA account books, paper vavers, cellphones, watches, wallets, bags and safes were seized.

Everything is evidence at the Central Jakarta Police," he said.

The case is still under investigation by the North Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit. The suspects are threatened by UURI No. 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics.
