BANDUNG - The police confirmed that the Kijang car with police number Z 1404 CT was not the vehicle that was blocking the ambulance in Garut, West Java. The police searched for this Kijang car as far as Sumedang.
"We made a video call with the car owner and also the video uploader, so it can be seen that the Z 1404 CT car is not a vehicle that is considered to be blocking an ambulance. The vehicle never left the house last Friday, "said Head of Garut Traffic Police AKP Asep Nugraha to reporters, Wednesday, August 19.
With this information, the police were again looking for a vehicle that was blocking the ambulance that was carrying the patient.
"We have checked with the Kijang vehicle owner numbered Z1404 CT. We met the son of the owner of the Kijang car, and from the statement concerned that the car never left the house, "said the Head of Public Relations of the Garut Police, Ipda Muslih separately.
The police have also asked for information from the ambulance driver, Damis Sitendi. There is a difference in information between Fauzi, the volunteer who uploaded the story of the ambulance being blocked and Damis about the type of vehicle that was blocking.
"According to Damis, the car blocking the speed of the vehicle was not a Kijang car as stated by Fauzi, but a pickup. Damis admitted that he did not memorize or write down the license plate of the car, "said Muslih.
The story of an ambulance being blocked by a viral vehicle on social media after a volunteer named Fauzi uploaded it. In the ambulance, there is a patient with a young child who must immediately get medical attention because of a broken blood vessel. This patient is said to have died upon arrival at the hospital.
"It is true that this incident occurred, it was conveyed directly by the ambulance driver," continued Muslih.
