Pertamina Gas Subholding Commitment To Support BPH Migas Program

JAKARTA - Pertamina's Gas Subholding, PT PGN is ready to support the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) program in realizing equitable energy.

One of the supports is by connecting a comprehensive gas network pipeline and also expanding the utilization of natural gas beyond the pipeline through LNG/CNG.

“We believe that several BPH Migas programs in managing the downstream oil and gas sector require support from all business entities. Therefore, we as the gas subholding PT Pertamina (Persero) must take part and actively participate in the success of the BPH Migas program," said PGN Director of Sales & Operations Faris Aziz in an official statement, Tuesday, December 21.

This was conveyed by Faris in welcoming the award given by BPH Migas to PGN, for its success in optimizing transmission and distribution services to provide natural gas supplies for customers and the public.

The award is also a form of appreciation to Business Entities in the downstream oil and gas sector for their contribution to payment of Non-Tax Revenue (PNPB) from Business Entity Contributions, in accordance with the mandate of Government Regulation No. 48 of 2019. Faris said that this appreciation spurred the spirit of the Subholding Gas Group to increase commitment. in implementing various programs for the sustainable use of natural gas.

“We would like to thank BPH Migas for the appreciation given. Hopefully in the future, PGN can make an even greater contribution to the country and the cooperation between the Subholding Gas Group - the government in order to optimize the utilization of natural gas can continue to run well, "he said.

It is known that the Subholding Gas Group won eight awards from five categories that were obtained by PT PGN Tbk, PT Pertamina Gas, PT Transportation Gas Indonesia, and PT Kalimantan Jawa Gas.
