The National Police Chief's Determination To Create A Police Loved By The Community

JAKARTA - The National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo expressed his determination to continue the struggle of his seniors in building a professional Police that is loved by the people.

The statement was made while attending a traditional pre-termination ceremony for the Police High Officers (Pati) in 2021 at the PTIK Auditorium, South Jakarta.

"We are determined to continue the baton that has been given to us by our seniors, so that we can truly turn the Police into an institution that is trusted, professional, close and loved by the community," said Sigit in a written statement, Tuesday, December 21.

Sigit also said that during his leadership period, the National Police would continue to strive to realize the Government's targets, in order to create a strong and growing Indonesia. And make preparations for Indonesia Gold in 2045.

"To be able to bring Indonesia to realize the ideals of a strong and growing Indonesia and to enter Indonesia as gold in 2045," said Sigit.

The National Police Chief did not forget to appreciate the hard work and dedication that carved gold ink from all seniors while serving in the Bhayangkara Corps. As the successor, Sigit will continue all the good things and fix all the shortcomings.

But, in continuing the task as a leader is not easy. Many complex challenges must be overcome. Therefore, all ranks of the National Police are asked to help by adapting according to the times and the existing strategic environment.

"So that we can continue to adapt and exist as a modern institution or institution to be able to adjust what the community expects," said Sigit.

The unanimous determination to become an institution that is increasingly loved by the community, according to the National Police Chief, has been outlined with the concept of Precision (Predictive, Responsibilities and Transparency with Justice).

"Of course what we are doing is inseparable from the Road Map that has been inscribed by seniors. And we are making adjustments to continue to adapt and place the Police as an institution that always exists. We ask for guidance and advice from seniors so that they can oversee our strategy to be implemented and realized well," said General Listyo Sigit.
