Today, Bareskrim Investigates Djoko Tjandra As A Suspect

JAKARTA - Bareskrim Polri investigators will examine Djoko Tjandra as a suspect in a case of fake travel documents. This examination is planned to take place at the Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

"To actively examine the Directorate of Tipidum regarding the case of document falsification on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 on behalf of Djoko Tjandra," said the Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Ferdy Sambo, to VOI, Wednesday, August 19.

He said, his party had coordinated with Salemba Prison to borrow Djoko Tjandra. After the investigation, Djoko Tjandara will be handed back to undergo detention.

"(Examined) At 10.00 WIB in Subdit 5, as a suspect in case 263 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code," said Ferdy.

Meanwhile, Djoko Tjandra was named by Bareskrim as a suspect in a fake pass. He was charged with Article 263 paragraph 1 and 2 of the Criminal Code concerning the use of fake letters, Article 426 concerning assisting criminals to escape, and Article 221 of the Criminal Code concerning hiding the perpetrators of crimes.

In this case, the National Police also named two suspects, namely Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo and Anita Kolopaking. Both were named suspects based on the results of the investigation and investigation which was then carried out in a case title.

Brigen Prasetyo is subject to Article 263 paragraph 1 and 2 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code and Article 426 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code and or Article 221 paragraph 1-2 of the Criminal Code. Article 263 of the Criminal Code regulates the making of fake letters.

Meanwhile, Anita Kolopaking, who was Djoko Tjandra's right hand man, was suspected of having committed crimes under Article 263 paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code and 223 of the Criminal Code.
