Playing On The President's Bike, Ariel Tatum: Filming In Papua Is Extraordinary
JAKARTA - Actress Ariel Tatum is the main character in the film directed by Garin Nugroho and Hestu Saputra, the President's Bike.
Filming for a month in Papua, it turns out that Ariel feels spontaneity in the production process. He stated this at the Presidential Bicycle press conference.
“The filming of the President's Bike is an extraordinary thing but it's definitely positive. I've known Garin for a long time, but only once has there been a joint work project," Ariel said on Monday, December 20.
"You know how unique Mas Garin is with all his brilliant ideas, but it turns out that the workshop we did before filming was not in vain," he laughed.
"Every time we shoot "Ariel come on standby" that's what the cast calls. "Okay, what scene are we in?" "I don't know, Ariel. Let's go to the set first, okay?"
As a result, every time we shoot, the players will gather and Garin Nugroho will give directions regarding the recorded dialogues and scenes.
Despite that much spontaneity, Ariel enjoyed the role of Binar in the film President's Bike. Binar is said to be an influencer who is looking for fresh air in Papua. There he met three children who had dreams and inspired Binar.
Ariel Tatum's acting as Binar can be seen on the President's Bike, which will air from 23 December 2021 in Indonesian cinemas.
