COVID-19 Update as of December 20: 133 New Cases from Examination of 266,112 Specimens
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 308,913 specimens were examined with the result that there were 133 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,160,677 people and 4,829 active cases", said Ministry of Health data, Monday, December 20.
Today's recovered cases increased by 216 cases, bringing the total to 4,111,835 recovered people. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 11 people and the total was 144,013 people.
The province with the newest cases is DKI Jakarta with 38 cases and a total of 864,682 cases. Followed by West Java with 23 new cases with a total of 708,630 cases. East Java has 14 new cases and a total of 399,900 cases. Then, East Nusa Tenggara with 10 new cases and a total of 64,209 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to West Java with an additional 65 recovered cases. Followed by Central Java with an additional 30 recovered cases, DKI Jakarta with an additional 21 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 20 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 60,470,151.
"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week is 0.10 percent", he wrote.
The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 2,542 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.
To date, 151,775,597 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 107,180,178 people have received the second dose of vaccination. While the third dose of vaccination was 1,268,716. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
