Prada Yotam Who Ran Away With Rifles Of The SS1 V1 Type Continues To Be Sought, Joins The KKB?
JAKARTA - Kapendam XVII Cenderawasih Col. Inf. Aqsha Erlangga admitted that the search for Prada (Prajurit Dua) Yotam Bugiangge, a member of Infantry Battalion 756/WMS, who took one SS1 V1 firearm with him was still ongoing.
"The search for Prada Yotam Bugiangge continues and hopes to be found soon," said Kapendam as quoted by Antara, Monday, December 20.
The search for Prada Yotam, according to Kapendam, started from inside the dormitory to its surroundings and only found clothes and shoes worn in the bushes behind the hostel.
According to Aqsha, from the report received, Prada Yotam took away an organic TNI AD firearm type SS1 V1 and it was discovered that he was not at the post on Friday (17/12) when he had to be on guard or picket at Company C Senggi, Keerom Regency.
According to his colleague's information, he saw that Yotam, who was born in Gunia, Nduga Regency, Papua, on May 24, 1999, received a call and rushed off.
Prada Yotam carried a firearm but no ammunition, said Kapendam, adding that he could not confirm whether he had joined the armed criminal group (KKB) or not.
"There has been no report of Prada Yotam joining the KKB or not because the search is still ongoing," said Kapendam.
Battalion 756/WMS which is based in Wamena, the capital of Jayawijaya Regency, is one of the battalions located within the XVII Cenderawasih Military Command, Papua.
