2 First Police Members Sell 80 Ammunition To KKB Papua, Case Files Have Been Transferred To The Prosecutor's Office

PAPUA - The documents for the examination (BAP) of two members of the National Police who are suspects in the case of selling ammunition to the armed criminal group (KKB) have been transferred to the Papua High Court.

Dirkrimsus Polda Papua Kombes Faizal Rahmadani when confirmed confirmed this. Faizal said, if the file has been declared complete by investigators at the Papua Prosecutor's Office, then his party will hand over the suspect and evidence for further processing.

"The two members of the National Police are still being held at the Papua Regional Police's detention house," explained Faizal, Antara, Papua, Monday, December 20.

Based on the results of the investigation, the two police officers, Brigadier JO (a member of the Nabire Police) and Brigadier Two (Briptu) AS (a member of the Yapen Police), were involved in this case for the first time. Both were arrested on 27 October 2021 in Nabire.

"Brigadier JO and the US Brigadier General admitted that they had only recently sold 80 rounds of ammunition," said Faizal.

When asked about the examination of AU alias Alek, who is a member of the KKB who bought ammunition from the US Brigadier General, the Papua Police Director General said that his party was still investigating this case.

"The case is still being investigated by investigators," said Kombes Pol. Faizal Rahmani.

It was previously reported that AU alias Alek was arrested in Nabire on Friday, December 3.
