This Morning, Bengkulu Was Shaken By An Earthquake Twice
JAKARTA - This morning, Bengkulu was shaken by two earthquakes. Based on information from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the two earthquakes had no potential for a tsunami.
First, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.9 shook southwest of Bengkulu on Wednesday, August 19 at 05:23:55 WIB.
The epicenter of the earthquake is located at 4.50 south latitude, 100.91 east longitude at a depth of 10 kilometers or a distance of 169 kilometers southwest of Bengkulu.

Furthermore, at 05.29.35 WIB, an earthquake measuring magnitude 6.8 again shook at the epicenter 3.74 latitude, 101.56 east longitude.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 11 kilometers or 78 kilometers southwest of North Bengkulu.
