The Trial For Rape Of Santriwati Held Closed, The Defendant HW Joins The Trial From The Kebon Waru Rutan

BANDUNG - The West Java High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) confirmed that the trial process for the immoral case of students with the defendant HW (36) at the Bandung District Court was held behind closed doors.

Head of West Java Attorney General's Office, Dodi Gazali Emil, said that the next trial, which will be held on Tuesday, December 21, is still scheduled for witness examination. The trial will be held online and offline.

"Then the position of the defendant followed the online trial from the Kebon Waru Rutan," said Dodi in Bandung, West Java, quoted by Antara, Monday, December 20.

According to Dodi, the trial will present three child witnesses as victims of immorality so that the trial is not open to the public.

"I don't know for sure the number, yes, only there were those who were present in court and some were online, a total of three (witnesses)," he said.

Meanwhile, HW was accused of committing immoral acts to 12 of his female students. His disgraceful actions caused the victims to experience pregnancy and give birth.

HW was accused of carrying out the action between 2016 and 2021. He is said to have carried out the action in a number of places ranging from Islamic boarding schools to lodging such as hotels and apartments.

At the HW trial, the Head of the West Java High Prosecutor's Office, Asep N Mulyana, is planned to attend directly as the Public Prosecutor (JPU).
