Klopp Highlights Referee Performance After Liverpool Detained By Tottenham

"Yes of course. You can give Robbo (Robertson) a red card. It wasn't the smartest try (tackling) but it was definitely a red card. No doubt about it. His foot was in the air, it was pure coincidence. Harry couldn't judge it. Robbo on the ground, it can break," Klopp said annoyed as quoted by the BBC.

Not only that, this German tactician also questioned the poor performance of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR). According to him, technology is completely useless if it is not used properly.

"We had VAR there and he (the referee) was thinking of looking back at Robertson again. Well that's what he's there for. But what does he do in that situation? said Klopp.

Another thing that Klopp criticized again was the referee's decision not to give the Reds a penalty after Diogo Jota was fouled in the forbidden box. On the other hand, the Portuguese player was actually considered diving.
