SPIN Survey: Prabowo Subianto's Electability Increases At The End Of 2021
JAKARTA - Director of Survey and Polling Indonesia (SPIN) Igor Dirgantara revealed that the electability of the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, was increasing at the end of 2021 to 23.2 percent.
"If the SPIN survey for the August 2021 period is compared with the current survey, it shows a pattern of increasing the electability of Prabowo by 1.3 percent, from 21.9 percent to 23.2 percent," said Igor in a written statement received in Jakarta, Sunday. , December 19.
Prabowo Subianto succeeded in outperforming the electability of a number of national figures, such as Ganjar Pranowo, Anies Baswedan, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, to Airlangga Hartarto. This is reflected in the results of a survey conducted by Survey and Polling Indonesia (SPIN). Prabowo Subianto's electability has now reached 23.2 percent, while other national figures are still below 20 percent.
Ganjar and Anies showed a different pattern with a decrease in support for each of around 3.0 percent for Ganjar, from 16.1 percent to 13.1 percent, and 2.5 percent for Anies, from 15.6 percent to 13 percent. .1 percent.
It can be seen that the decline in Ganjar is greater when compared to Anies. Nevertheless, there are still very many opportunities for candidates because there are 18.3 percent who have not been able to make their choice.
According to Igor, the SPIN Survey tries to measure public opinion about the suitability of national figures to become Presidential Candidates in 2024. The public has their own parameters in measuring the appropriateness level. Public ratings are in the range of 50 percent to 70 percent more.
"For the appropriateness level, the public is asked to assess which of the national figures deserves to be a presidential candidate. From the question variables it was found that Prabowo has the highest percentage of appropriateness, followed by Ganjar Pranowo, Anies, Airlangga, Sandi, and Puan," he said.
Regarding political parties, Igor added, PDIP is still the main choice of public choice, followed by Gerindra and Golkar.
The SPIN survey was conducted on November 22-December 1, 2021 with a total number of 1,670 respondents, aged at least 17 years spread across 34 provinces using the "multi-stage random" method, a 95 percent confidence level, and a "margin of error" of approx. 2.4 percent.
