As Chief Of Tidar, Prabowo's Nephew Rahayu Saraswati Is Ready To Help Gerindra Win The 2024 Election

JAKARTA - The newly elected General Chair of Tunas Indonesia Raya (Tidar) Rahayu Saraswati promised to prepare her members to help the Gerindra Party win the simultaneous general elections (elections) in 2024.

Rahayu, after being elected as general chairman during the 3rd Congress of Tidar - Gerindra's wing organization - said that he would consolidate with Tidar members throughout Indonesia to win Gerindra in 2024 from the national, legislative, to regional head elections.

"We will consolidate and prepare for the 2024 election by ensuring that our cadres throughout Indonesia are ready to contribute, whether they be legislative candidates or regional head candidates," Saraswati said, quoted by Antara, Sunday, December 19.

Sara, as she is known, said that Tidar members will also be prepared to become a successful team as well as witnesses at the polling station.

In addition, Tidar will also recruit many members from the millennial group to ensure leadership regeneration in the Gerindra Party, said Rahayu.

"We were formed, trained, and prepared to get the next leadership baton," said Sara.

In the 3rd Tidar Congress, Rahayu Saraswati was the sole general chairman candidate who was chosen to replace Aryo Djojohadikusumo.

Meanwhile, the Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party DPP Sufmi Dasco Ahmad at the Tidar 3rd Congress hoped that the new organizational leaders could create work programs that foster the fighting spirit of the members.

The reason is that Gerindra has given Tidar a special task to help the party in the 2024 election.

"Gerindra targets Tidar as much as possible to attract novice voters because its share (in the 2024 election) is millennials," said Sufmi.

Sufmi also emphasized the importance of regeneration in the management and leadership of political parties.

Related to that, the Gerindra Party provides equal opportunities for all members to contribute and serve the party, said Sufmi.

"Even the children of the founders of Gerindra are not privileged," said Sufmi.

Rahayu Saraswati is the son of Hashim Djojohadikusumo, one of the founders of Gerindra. He is also the nephew of the general chairman of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto.

However, Sufmi ensured that there would be no preferential treatment for the children of the party founders, because Rahayu had also gone through the stages of tiered political education in Gerindra the same way as other party members.
