View your Gmail inbox and open the email from the sender you want to block. In the upper right corner of the email, in the same horizontal plane as the sender's name and address, is an icon consisting of three vertically stacked dots. Click on the Dot icon to open a new series of menus. From this menu, select Block (sender's name), which will appear near the center of the list.
