Cut The Rings On The Fingers Of Residents Who Have Gout, Firefighters Only Need 15 Minutes

JAKARTA - The rescue team of the East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Sudin Gulkarmat) has again evacuated a resident whose finger was caught in a ring. The victim, Winny Grace, a resident of Kramat Jati, asked for help from the fire department to remove her ring from her finger.

After receiving a report from a resident, East Jakarta Gulkarmat officers immediately carried out the rescue.

"The process of removing the ring at post 5.17.2, Batu Ampar Village, Kramat Jati District. Thank God it was successful," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Gatot Sulaeman, Saturday, December 18.

At least three officers were deployed for the ring cutting process with a hand grinder.

"Finished evacuation of the ring at around 14.30 WIB. According to residents, uric acid recurred so that the finger was swollen and the ring could not be removed," he said.

When the evacuation was carried out, the ring cutting process only lasted for 15 minutes and was complete.
