Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport Opens Christmas-New Year Air Transport Monitoring Post
BADUNG - I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, has started to open the 2021 Christmas and New Year 2022 Transportation Monitoring Command Post in the domestic terminal area.
General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali, Herry AY Sikado said, to ensure security and safety, his party together with stakeholders carried out the opening of the Integrated Air Transport Monitoring Post for Christmas and New Year.
"In this case, the focus is also on implementing health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic. This command post will be open for 19 days, starting from December 17, 2021 to January 4, 2022. So, later all data and reports are centralized regarding transportation activities. Nataru air, will be monitored here," said Herry, Friday, December 17.
"We are still on standby for the Nataru Command Post, even though when Nataru will be restricted, we must anticipate things that can disrupt the smooth operation of flights and service users," he added.
Meanwhile, Head of Region IV Airport Authority Putu Eka Cahyadhi said, with the collaboration and synergy of all stakeholders. He believes that the Christmas-New Year period can be handled well together.
"By continuing to hold and apply the principles of 3S + 1C (Safety Security Services and Compliance) as well as discipline in applying health protocols by all parties. It is hoped that it will be able to create a smooth and controlled safe condition for flight operations," he said.
"I invite all parties to work hand in hand to work together to carry out the duties of each agency or operator according to the scope and authority as well as their respective SOPs. Please immediately report to the leadership or PIC of the Nataru Command Post if abnormal things happen or are found. Let's participate actively in supporting the smooth success of air transportation during the present Naru period," he explained.
