The Woman Snatcher In North Kuta Who Made The Victim Broken Legs Arrested
DENPASAR - Ni Putu Aditnya Wedayanti (27) suffered a broken leg after being a victim of a mugging in North Kuta, Badung, Bali. The police have arrested the robber named Rachmat Hidayat alias Dayat.
"The victim has been treated at the Wangaya General Hospital," said Director General of the Bali Police Kombes Ary Satryan at the Bali Police Headquarters, Friday, December 17.
The mugging happened behind the Dharma Phala swimming pool. The perpetrator with a motorbike pulled the victim's bag until the victim fell.
The victim who suffered a broken leg was rescued by an online motorcycle taxi driver.
"Furthermore, the victim, accompanied by his girlfriend, was taken to Wangaya Hospital. After an X-ray, it was found that he had a fracture in his left leg," Ary added.
The victim then reported this incident to the police. The perpetrator was arrested on Thursday, December 16.
"The modus operandi is that the perpetrator followed the victim, and when he was in a quiet place he immediately grabbed the victim's vehicle and forcibly took the victim's bag," said Ary.
The perpetrator admitted that he needed money so he was desperate to snatch it. Meanwhile, the victim suffered a loss of Rp. 4.4 million.
