Shoot And Kill Drug Suspects, North Sumatra Police Confiscate 100 Kg Of Methamphetamine-50 Thousand Ecstasy Pills

MEDAN - The police revealed a case of drug trafficking with a total of 100 kilograms of methamphetamine and 50 thousand ecstasy pills. One suspect was shot dead.

North Sumatra Regional Police Chief Inspector General Martuani Sormin explained that three suspects were arrested, namely DEJ, HW and ST who were shot dead for fighting the police.

From ST's hands, the police confiscated two plastic sacks containing 50 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine. 25,000 ecstasy pills were also confiscated. The drugs are delivered to a warehouse in Medan.

Before arresting ST, the police first secured HW. From HW's hand, 50 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine were confiscated.

"And one fiber box contains 5 transparent plastic packages containing 25 thousand ecstasy pills," said Martuani in a case release at Bhayangkara Hospital Medan, Tuesday, August 18.

The arrests of HW and ST were the result of developing an investigation into DEJ's arrest on Friday 19 June. The police confiscated 23 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine from the suspect.

"From the results of the evidence confiscated 100 kg of crystal methamphetamine has saved 1 million children of the nation and 50 thousand ecstasy pills have saved 50 thousand children of the nation," said Martuani.
