Viral Group Of Airplane Passengers From Overseas Detained 12 Hours At The Grass Market Flats, Here's The Explanation
JAKARTA - A group of plane passengers who had just arrived in Indonesia from abroad were stuck in a bus parked at the Pasar Rumput Flat. They are said to have been detained for up to 12 hours.
It went viral on social media after the Instagram account @lensa_berita_jakarta uploaded a video showing this condition.
In addition, the uploaded narration states that the group was detained from Wednesday to Thursday at around 10.30 WIB.
The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan, who was confirmed about this, confirmed the condition. According to him, the group will undergo a period of quarantine.
However, because the capacity of the Grass Market Flats was full, the group was held back.
"So all those who came from abroad were all undergoing a quarantine process. There was also the incident at the South Jakarta Grass Market because the place was full. Right there the capacity was 5,500 at the Grass Market. By the time the group arrived the position was full, " said Zulpan when confirmed, Thursday, December 16.
However, now the group has been handled. They have been directed to undergo a period of quarantine at Wisma Atlet Kemayoran and Pademangan.
"Diverted to another place," said Zulpan.
"Wisma Athletes in Kemayoran and Pademangan," he continued.
However, regarding which country the group had traveled from, Zulpan could not confirm it. He only emphasized that at this time everything had been handled properly.
