Still 12 Years Old, This Minahasa Girl Has Planned Acts Of Violence To Become Content To Be Famous
MINAHASA - A case of child abuse at the age of 11 in Minahasa, North Sulawesi (Sulut) has gone viral on social media. The victim, with the initials PS, was apparently abused by TTP, a colleague who is not far apart in age, 12 years.
During the North Sulawesi Regional Police's investigation, it was discovered that TTP had deliberately ordered another 'gang' to record the beatings. This beating video will be used as content on social media so that the perpetrator can be famous.
This was conveyed by the Head of Public Relations of the North Sulawesi Police, Kombes Jules Abraham Abast in Manado, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, December 16.
"According to the perpetrator's confession, he deliberately recorded the meeting with the victim and the abuse, so that the video could be used as social media content and he could be more famous," said Abast.
The case of abuse has been reported by the victim's mother to the Minahasa Police with the report number LP/554/XII/2021/Sulut/Minahasa Police, on December 9, 2021.
Based on the report, the female perpetrator of TTP invited the female victim of PS to meet. Upon arrival at the location, the victim was immediately accused of cursing the perpetrator, which in turn led to persecution. Unbeknownst to the victim, the perpetrator apparently ordered another friend to record the abuse.
After the persecution, the victim returned to his home and reported the incident to his mother.
Abast said the incident in Watulambot Village, Minahasa, North Sulawesi has entered the investigation stage.
“This case is certainly a lesson for parents to pay more attention and supervise their children's interactions. Monitor our children in socializing including the use of gadgets or cellphones, so that later things don't happen that can harm themselves," he said.
