Tyson Fury Never Takes Sports Too Seriously, He Drinks 7 Liters Of Beer Before Boxing
JAKARTA - Tyson Fury is one of the top boxers in the world today. However, he also tries to enjoy himself.
The British fighter revealed that knowing how to enjoy free time is crucial in keeping a healthy mind and achieving success in the ring.
"I don't act like a pro and stay in the gym many days a week because it doesn't work," she told The Sun.
"If you show up on time, try your hardest and do your best, the sad truth is 99 percent of the time you still won't make it.
"But if you're in the gym and still get out two or three times a week then you might be successful.
"Boxing is a matter of mindset, it's not about who trains the hardest or who lifts the heaviest weights, you have to enjoy yourself.
"If you don't enjoy yourself then the sport gets too serious and you end up losing.
"I often drink 7 liters of beer before 15 rounds of practice and can still hit someone. If I lie then God can bring me down.
"I remember one night I drank 14 liters of Fosters and then fought three top 10 heavyweights and beat them all. That's because I didn't take it too seriously."
