The Construction Of An Aquarium Village Costs IDR 62 Billion
JAKARTA - Construction of the Kampung Akuarium, Penjaringan, North Jakarta officially begins ceremonially today. Acting Head of the Housing and Settlement Area Service, Sarjoko, said that the arrangement of this village cost Rp. 62 billion.
Sarjoko said the development costs came from the (private) developer 's obligation. The development of this village uses a conversion scheme by the holders of space utilization permits.
"This is the developer's obligation, the budget is approximately IDR 62 billion. Later, we will calculate whether the block (flats) needs can be met with the funds," said Sarjoko, Monday, August 17.
This scheme is regulated in Governor Regulation Number 112 of 2019. In this Pergub, the fulfillment of this cheap or simple apartment financing obligation is in the form of construction of flats, infrastructure, facilities and public utilities, as well as procurement of goods.
"If this is not enough, then we will recalculate it with other sources of financing," said Sarjoko.
The residential development with the concept of four-level flats has 5 blocks. In total, there are 240 housing units with a type of 27 square meters per unit of the 10 hectare land.
"The numbers of each unit are not the same, there are two typical, two blocks of 50 units, two blocks of 48 units typical. Then one of the blocks at the end is approximately 33 units," said Sarjoko.
The construction of the Kampung Akuarium construction is planned to start in September 2020. The arrangement of the Kampung Akuarium is planned to be completed in December 2021. Kampung Akuarium is the initial stepping stone for Anies to carry out the slum village structuring program in DKI.
The construction was carried out based on the Decree of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Number 878 of 2018 concerning the Task Force for the Implementation of Village and Community Management. The planning for the design of the Kampung Susun Akuarium has involved the participation of the residents of Kampung Akuarium and has gone through the session of the cultural heritage expert team and the restoration trial, the building expert team.
This arrangement uses a community action plan (CAP) approach. CAP is a method of developing an area that involves community and community participation, such as the RUJAK Center for Urban Studies and the Urban Poor People's Network (JRMK).
"This collaboration is to plan and formulate what the residents need, so that the development will really be as expected. The initial design also considers various things to create a proper and healthy shelter," said Sarjoko.
