The Attorney For Novel Sprinklers Died, AGO: Pray For Husnul Khotimah

JAKARTA - Robertino Fedrik Adhar Syaripuddin passed away, Thursday, August 17 at Pondok Indah Bintaro Hospital. He is a prosecutor who has handled the hard water sprinkling case against Novel Baswedan.

Hari said, the late Fedrik Adhar was immediately buried by his family. The funeral was also attended by the Attorney General's Office.

"It has been buried in the Jombang Ciputat TPU," said Hari

The previous day, said that Robertino Fedrik Adhar Syaripuddin had died due to diabetes. He died while undergoing treatment in the hospital.

"It has passed away to the grace of our brother Robertino Fedrik Adhar Syaripuddin today at around 11.00 WIB," he said.

The name Fedrik Adhar became known by many parties when handling the case of pouring hard water on Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigator Novel Baswedan by Rahmat Kadir Mahulette and Ronny Bugis, who are currently convicted.

At that time, Fedrik Adhar as the Public Prosecutor (JPU) asked the two men, Rahmat Kadir Mahulette and Rony Bugis, to one year in prison.

In the indictment, the defendant Rahmat's actions were deemed proven to have fulfilled the elements of maltreatment with planning and resulted in serious injuries due to using sulfuric acid or H2SO4 to injure Novel Baswedan. Meanwhile, Rony is considered to have been involved in the act of persecution because he helped the persecution process.

The trial process for Novel Baswedan on chemical liquid sprinkling has become a polemic for a number of circles. This is because the demands given by the public prosecutor (JPU) for one year in prison to the two defendants are considered very light.

In fact, the actions of both of them were considered by a number of circles to be subject to serious persecution because it was planned and caused serious injury to one of Novel Baswedan's eyes and complied with Article 353 of the Criminal Code, paragraph 2. 1) 1st KUHP.

Finally, during a verdict at the North Jakarta District Court, Rahmat and Ronny were sentenced to 2 years in prison. This verdict was heavier than Fedrik's demands.

In addition, he was also a prosecutor for the case of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok.
