Inter Milan Will Terminate Christian Eriksen's Contract After Almost Dying At Euro 2020 Due To Heart Problems
JAKARTA - Inter Milan is preparing to terminate the contract of the Danish national team midfielder Christian Eriksen.
The 29-year-old has not played since collapsing with a heart problem during the Euro 2020 match against Finland in June.
Eriksen is known to have started training on his own at the facilities of his boyhood club from Denmark, Odense Boldclub to prepare to return to the gridiron.
However, the BBC reported as quoted by Antara, Thursday, that it was certain that he would not be able to have a career in Serie A because of the rules of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) which prohibit footballers from playing with cardiac devices.
This forced Inter Milan to terminate Eriksen's contract.
