West Java Islamic Ulama-Youth Ijtima Forum Supports Sandiaga Uno To Become A Presidential Candidate In 2024
BANDUNG - The Ijtima Ulama and Indonesian Islamic Youth Forum (PII) throughout West Java (West Java) declared support for the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno as a presidential candidate in the 2024 election.
"We young habibs as well as kiai throughout West Java consider him (Sandiaga Uno, ed) to be a complete package, from character, integrity, capacity, performance, morals to personality," said Habib Ahmad Taha Alhaddar in a written statement quoted by Antara. , Wednesday, December 15th.
Habib Ahmad Taha said Sandiaga Uno was at the top of the 2024 vice presidential survey. Therefore, he considered Sandiaga Uno to have a great opportunity to become a presidential candidate.
"It is possible that with a high and extraordinary capacity, he is suitable to be vice president and even a presidential candidate, because he is very moderate," said Habib Ahmad, who is also the caretaker of the Nur Taufik Ta'lim Council, Taman Sari, Bandung.
The caretaker of the As-Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School I Sukabumi, KH Lilik Abdul Kholiq, said that West Java clerics agreed to support Sandiaga Uno. According to Lilik, Sandiaga Uno is a figure that can be accepted by all elements of society.
