The Value Of A Leader Who Cares For The Village, PPDI Asks Ganjar Pranowo To Become A Coach

SEMARANG - The Governor of Central Java (Central Java) Ganjar Pranowo was asked to become the coach of the Indonesian Village Apparatus Association (PPDI). Ganjar is considered a leader who cares the most about village issues.

"We came here to discuss various village apparatus issues with Pak Ganjar. In addition, we also specifically asked Pak Ganjar to become the supervisory board of the PPDI organization," said PPDI Secretary General Sarjoko, in Semarang as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, December 15.

Apart from being concerned with village issues, Ganjar is also considered to be siding with the village head and village officials. "That's why we want him to sit on the PPDI advisory board. Incidentally, we will have the final on January 8, 2022, we hope he is pleased," he said after meeting Ganjar Pranowo in the Central Java Governor's office.

Sarjoko explained that PPDI is an organization of village officials spread across 17 provinces and 362 districts throughout Indonesia, so the problems they face are quite complex.

"Well, in our opinion, Pak Ganjar is very appropriate, because he really cares about the fate of the village head and village officials," he also said.

During the meeting, he also asked for Ganjar's help to encourage the formation of a village government official number, because this is important to protect village government officials from arbitrariness.

"We think the identification number is important to protect us, so that we don't fall victim to village government policies. If there is a termination, we hope that there will be a legal process that applies," he said.

He was happy because Ganjar immediately responded to his complaint by ordering Dispermasdes to immediately coordinate and encourage the issuance of the village government apparatus' identification number.

The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, said that he did not mind being a PPDI coach on one condition, namely that PPDI members wanted to be fostered by him.

"I was asked to be a PPDI coach. It depends on whether PPDI members want to be fostered or not. If they don't want to be coached, it's better to have someone else," said Ganjar.

In essence, said Ganjar, whether he asked or not he would continue to foster village officials, especially those in Central Java, and would help solve the problems faced.

"So if you have agreed that I will be the coach, let's go together. I am with the village head, the village apparatus is like a friend. So don't hesitate, if there is a problem, directly 'whatsapp' or call me directly," he also said.
