Police Prepare Service Posts And Security For Christmas And New Year Holidays
JAKARTA - The National Police have confirmed that they will not set up a checkpoint post for the 2021 Christmas and New Year's holidays in 2022. However, the police will set up security and service posts in areas that are often public destinations.
"What we have established are security posts and service posts as well as integrated posts in public areas that will be visited by the public," said Asops Chief of Police Inspector General Imam Sugianto, Wednesday, December 15.
For service posts, there are 1,113 registered service posts spread throughout Indonesia. Later, thousands of Police personnel will be alerted at the post.
Members who are at the service post will facilitate the community to undergo a swab or COVID-19 antigen. Because the COVID-19 free certificate will be a condition that must be met by the public if they are going to travel.
