Indrian Puspita, Paskibraka Carrying Flag Tray For Independence Ceremony At The Palace

JAKARTA - Three members of the Pusaka Flag Raising Force (Paskibraka) were assigned to fly the Red and White at the Merdeka Palace on the anniversary of the proclamation of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

Indrian Puspita Rahmadhani from Aceh Province was chosen as the bearer of the Red and White flag. Born in Bireuen, November 10, 2003, Indrian is currently studying at SMAN 1 Bireuen.

Two other people from the team who will fly the Red and White flag are Muhammad Adzan from West Nusa Tenggara Province who is in charge of the group commander as well as the flag spreader. Meanwhile, I Gusti Agung Bagus Kade Sanggra Wira Adhinata from Bali Province served as a flag hoist.

Colonel Inf. Muhammad Imam Gogor, AA was appointed as the Commander of the commemoration ceremony for the proclamation of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

President Joko Widodo inaugurated the 2020 Paskibraka on duty today on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at the State Palace. Paskibraka has pronounced the Putra Indonesia Pledge and is ready to carry out its duties.

"This time, the 75th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia will be held on a limited basis by prioritizing the safety and security of the public from the Covid-19 pandemic," said Jokowi, Thursday, August 13.

Jokowi said that the number of Paskibraka members who would serve at the Merdeka Palace was not as many as the previous year. Only eight people from eight provinces served in the commemoration of Indonesian Independence

"They are tasked with raising the red and white flag at the Second Anniversary of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 2020 at the courtyard of the Merdeka Palace. In the afternoon, they will also return to duty in the flag-lowering ceremony, ”said Jokowi.
