Violating The Discipline Rules Is The Reason For Captain Aubameyang's Position Removal
JAKARTA - Striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been removed from his post as captain of Premier League side Arsenal after reportedly violating the club's disciplinary rules last week.
Quoted from Antara, Wednesday, Arsenal has confirmed this because they want all their players to work by following the rules and standards that have been prepared to be approved.
"We expect all players, especially our captain, to work with the rules and standards that we have set and agreed upon. We are fully focused on tomorrow's match (today, red)," Arsenal's official statement read.
Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has refused to speak about what Aubameyang's disciplinary breaches caused him to lose the captain's armband and not be involved in Arsenal's last Premier League game.
In addition, Aubameyang also certainly will not participate in the 17th week of the English Premier League when Arsenal will travel to West Ham headquarters, Thursday morning Indonesian time.
