Sergio Aguero Will Announce His Retirement As A Footballer Today
JAKARTA - Barcelona striker Sergio Aguero will announce his retirement as a player on Wednesday local time after experiencing an irregular heartbeat and difficulty breathing during the match against Alaves in October.
Quoted from Antara, Wednesday Sergio Aguero was diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia or a condition where he has an irregular heartbeat and forced him to end his career as a footballer.
According to reports in the Spanish media in November, Sergio Aguero was indicated to be retiring soon due to a heart problem, although the Argentine remains positive and there is progress in his recovery.
In Barcelona's match against Alaves last October, Sergio Aguero was taken to hospital after complaining of discomfort in his chest.
Sergio Aguero was seen clutching his chest and subsequently underwent a cardiac examination in hospital as a precaution, after leaving the pitch in an ambulance.
As a result of this, Sergio Aguero was withdrawn before the end of the first half after several minutes of treatment and was subsequently replaced by attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho.
