SAR Finds One Of Seven Victims Car Entered Abyss In Pakpak Bharat, North Sumatra
MEDAN - The joint SAR team found one of seven victims in a minibus accident that fell into a ravine in Tanjung Mulia Village, Sitellu Tali Urang Jahe District, Pakpak Bharat Regency, North Sumatra.
Public Relations of Medan SAR Office Sariman Sitorus said the identity of the victim found was Khairumi (22). The victim was found dead.
The body of the female victim was found in Sikelang Village, Penanggalan District on Monday (13/12) night at around 18.00 WIB.
"The victim was found 25 km from the location where she was reported missing," he said, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, December 14.
The victim's body has been handed over to the family to be taken to the funeral home.
"Currently we are still searching for six other victims who are still missing," said Sariman Sitorus.
Previously, a minibus with license plate number BL 1537 EF fell into a ravine in Tanjung Mulia Village, Sitellu Tali Urang Jahe District, Pakpak Bharat Regency, North Sumatra on Sunday, December 12, at around 05.00 WIB.
The minibus was driven by Arman (51) carrying six passengers from Aceh to Medan City.
While at the location, the driver of the car who was suspected of being sleepy brought the car to the right side of the road and plunged into a ravine and into the Lae Kombih river. They were reported missing suspected of being swept away by the current of the Lae Kombih River.
The identities of the missing victims are Arman (51), Tata Agusnianti (22) a resident of West Aceh, Khairumi (22) a resident of West Aceh, Fitri Elfirati (26) an Acehnese, Arman Yusuf (51), Sudarsih (68) and Masdi (49 ) residents of Medan City.
