Adobe Launches Canva-like App For Content Creators
JAKARTA - Over time, many content creators have sprung up which have made technology companies strengthen their innovations, such as Adobe, which recently launched Creative Cloud Express.
This app aims to try to open up some more powerful editing tools for the amateurs. Creative Cloud Express offers basic versions of image and video editing tools, allowing users to work with layers, AI effects, and a large font library.
The company says the apps are all designed with a simple interface, which should make the feature easier for novice content creators to use.
“A lot of people need something simpler and more accessible, and these customers are increasingly putting content first and more focused on results over process,” said Adobe Chief Product Officer Scott Belsky.
Quoting The Verge, Tuesday, December 14, Creative Cloud Express is designed so that new users don't have to endure the learning curve, Adobe tools are more powerful like Photoshop and can quickly create something that looks good.
The brand-new app seems designed for social media managers, small business owners, and anyone else who has something to promote but isn't an expert in graphic design.
To start with, users can choose from pre-designed templates, these are created for various purposes like brochures, Facebook uploads, Instagram Stories, YouTube thumbnails, restaurant menus, book covers and so on.
Once users select a template, they can customize all the features in it. Users can also customize text, import new assets from Adobe's stock image library, and add animations. One very clever feature can automatically remove the background from the image, letting the image focus only on its subject.
Although it looks interesting, this app is similar to Canva. Where users can also design with thousands of templates and embed stock images. Just like Creative Cloud Express, Canva is also an easy-to-use editing tool.
For your information, this application is free to access, but there are additional features such as access to Adobe Stock images which requires a subscription of 9.99 US dollars per month. Creative Cloud Express launched today and is available on iOS, Android, and the web.
