Cafe In Cakung Sealed By Satpol PP: A Disco-like Dining Place, Without Permit

JAKARTA - Joint officers closed a place of business on Jalan Tipar Cakung, RT 05/05, Cakung Barat Village, Cakung, East Jakarta for violating the prokes. Apart from violating the prokes, the place of business also does not have a permit.

The officers then forcibly closed the place of business. All tables and chairs are stacked in the front yard and lined with the Satpol PP Line. There are four businesses in one building. Consists of meatballs, cafe, live music and restaurants.

The Head of Cakung Sub-district Pol PP, Harapan Tambunan, said that this forced closure was carried out by joint officers while carrying out PPKM Level 2 supervision on Monday, December 13.

Because this cafe every night invites a large crowd of people. Even visitors are treated to the sound of music booming very loud, deafening ears.

So that visitors find it difficult to control their passion to dance like in a discotheque or large cafe. This made local residents nervous until they finally reported it to the officers.

"Observations show that every night this cafe presents music in a very loud voice. Visitors dance and dance and do not obey the health protocol. It makes local residents restless," said Harapan, Tuesday, December 14.

According to him, during the inspection, it was suspected that this place of business did not have a business license. Before taking action, the West Cakung Village had already summoned the owner.

However, the owner ignored and disobeyed by not going to the kelurahan office for clarification.

"That's why we immediately sealed this place of business, temporarily closing it for an undetermined time limit," he said.
