Anies Creates Youtube Content Titled #dariPendopo, PDIP: Shy To Become A Presidential Candidate
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan launched Youtube content titled "#dariPendopo". In his upload, Anies told about the program he ran while leading DKI.
Member of the PDIP faction of the DKI DPRD, Gilbert Simanjuntak, sees this content creation as Anies' move to start raising his image in order to be able to run for the 2024 presidential election.
"The content could be an attempt to take advantage of the remaining less than one year of his position. He (Anies) is a bit shy about becoming a presidential candidate," Gilbert said in a short message, Tuesday, December 14.
In fact, if you want to explain about his experience while serving as DKI Governor, Anies can upload content on the DKI Provincial Government Youtube.
"When it comes to government policies and matters relating to work, it is better to go through official channels. If not through official channels, it means that there are other goals to be achieved," said Gilbert.
Currently, there is only one content #dariPendopo created by Anies entitled "Make Far So Close. #dariPendopo". The video was uploaded on December 11, 2021.
In the show, Anies sat in a wooden pavilion. He told about the gap between the city in Jakarta and the Thousand Islands Regency.
Anies explained that the content of #dariPendopo is Anies' story about his experience in leading the capital city through various policies he made, starting from his background, process, to his goals.
"So, #dariPendopo is a story about the policies that we develop, the process, background, objectives, aspects. So, this is complete information. Through this channel, I will tell you about the many policies that were made based on experience while on duty," explained Anies.
Then, Anies also admitted that he would create other content related to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government program. For example, regarding sidewalk construction, transportation integration, providing social assistance, to handling COVID-19.
Anies views that this content needs to be created as a means of expressing his thoughts which he admits cannot be done directly through press conferences with the media.
"There are many stories behind the process that have not been told yet and cannot be told at the press conference," said Anies.
"That's why I prepared this. This is my way of telling the whole process. So, it is more aimed at telling what has been done, its background, and its purpose," he added.
