This can be seen from the number of experts invited to reach 4 to 5 people in a day and the RDPU with these experts, even on holidays," Suryadi told reporters, Tuesday, December 14. This member of the Special Committee for the IKN Bill from the PKS Fraction explained that experts from various sectors and expertise were asked to provide input and views according to their field of expertise.
"From the views of the experts who have entered, several experts have noted that there is a disparity between the Academic Paper (NA) and the draft IKN Bill. Because many things are conveyed in the NA but do not appear in the IKN Bill," explained Suryadi.
Suryadi continued, several things that were criticized by experts were regulations related to the environment. Where there is only one article, even though the transfer of IKN will certainly have a broad impact on the environment. "This arrangement is important because the Kalimantan area has at least 37 bird species, 44 land mammals and more than a third of the estimated 10,000 to 15,000 plant species only on this island," said this member of Commission V. Therefore, according to Suryadi, a plan is needed. artificial animal corridors that take into account biodiversity and ensure sustainable flora and fauna.
"The many criticisms in this draft prove that the quality of the draft bill is not good. So the discussion should not be carried out in a hurry and must provide the widest possible space for the public and experts to provide input on this draft bill," he said.
In fact, according to today's scheduled agenda, discussion of article by article has begun. "Therefore, the PKS faction hopes that the discussion of the IKN Bill can be broadcast live through online media so that it can be widely accessed by the public," closed Suryadi.
