Man In Deli Serdang Stabs A Neighbor Because Of Jealousy, His Wife Has Been Teased
MEDAN - Police arrested Ahmad Safri in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. He was arrested for recklessly slashing his neighbour, a motor rickshaw driver (pebetor) named Enda Dalimunthe (45) with a machete.
Tanjung Morawa Police Chief AKP Firdaus Kemit said the incident occurred on Thursday, December 9, at noon. The stabbing began when the victim brought his betor into the street of his house, namely in Gang Saudara.
At that time, suddenly the perpetrator came and immediately swung his machete at the victim's head. The perpetrator's machete swing hit the victim's left head and then the victim fell to the ground.
"Furthermore, the perpetrator swung the machete again at the victim, but the victim brushed it off with his right hand and hit the ring finger of the victim's hand," said AKP Firdaus, Monday, December 13.
Residents who knew about it immediately came to intervene. The victim was then taken to the Rahmat Hidayah Hospital for treatment. Residents then arrested the perpetrators and handed over to the police.
"The perpetrator and the evidence were secured by the community and then taken to the Tanjung Morawa Police for further processing," he said.
From the investigation, it is suspected that the suspect molested the victim because he was burning with jealousy. The suspect said the victim had teased his wife.
"(The motive) was jealousy, his wife had been bullied (the victim)," he said.
