Hundreds Of Residents' Houses In Front Of The Mandalika Circuit Will Be Beautified
PRAYA - The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Lalu Firman Wijaya stated, hundreds of houses along the roadside in front of the Mandalika Circuit will be arranged or beautified in order to support the upcoming 2022 MotoGP racing event.
"The residents' private houses on the north side of the Mandalika Circuit will be arranged," said Lalu Firman Wijaya in Praya, Monday, December 13.
The program from the Ministry of PUPR is planned to start working in early 2022 with the hope that the houses on the north side of the road will look neater and more beautiful, because the condition of several residents' houses and stalls on the side of the road requires arrangement.
"This is just the arrangement of people's houses to make them look good," he said.
He said that the housing arrangement program for residents along the road had not been developed into a homestay, but if residents wanted to turn their houses into homestays, it was the responsibility of the residents.
"This is just a house arrangement. If it becomes a homestay, we will leave it to the community," he said.
He said that the timing and pattern of implementation of the project would be discussed further with the relevant agencies and the central government regarding the technical construction and construction concepts.
"The number of houses that will be arranged is 180 families," he said.
