In Order Not To Disturb The General Passengers, The G20 Delegation Uses A Special Flight Path

JAKARTA - Foreign delegates who want to attend the G20 Summit will use a special flight route. They will separate and not disturb civilian passengers.

"We agreed that our international flights will use a special route that is separate from general passengers so that in the process the health protocols are under control," said Head of the Communications Bureau of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Kemenko Marves) Andreas Dipi Patria in a discussion entitled "Keeping the Face of the Nation in the G20" which was broadcast online in Jakarta, Monday, December 13, as reported by Antara.

Not only special routes, Andreas said the government will set up a hospitality desk at special airports to serve incoming checks as is done for arrivals of foreign flights.

"For example, the control points at the airport are quite long, such as custom, immigration, port health, then we will also set this up in one particular venue so that the service is carried out in one place and controlled. disturbing public passengers," he said.

His party has coordinated with the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) regarding flight arrangements to ensure the series of activities of the G20 Summit run smoothly. It also needs to be confirmed because the side event of the G20 Summit is also planned to be held in almost 20 major cities in Indonesia.

"We have coordinated closely with the Ministry of Transportation to ensure that the arrival and departure procedures are well controlled," he said.

Furthermore, Andreas said some foreign delegates would most likely also use private planes. Therefore, the government has coordinated with related parties to regulate air traffic by considering the entire schedule and location of the event.

"Of course, AirNav will help friends with regards to routes and flight schedules will be arranged in such a way that it will not interfere with civil flights during the activity," he said.

All these preparations, according to Andreas, show Indonesia's seriousness in providing the best service for all participants and delegates of the G20 Summit.

"Thus, this will be able to give them confidence that there is no longer any doubt about the access points placed as event venues," he said.
